Of course, it does no harm that the material is universally top notch, with every line perfectly honed and never failing to get the laugh. Add this to an equally remarkable performance - where each pause, each inflection, each subtle nuance is delivered with perfect precision - and a stage presence so strong that a heckler can be put in their place with a mere disdainful glance.
