Mark began peddling his particular brand of nonsense that apparently passes for comedy, in 1987. Since that time, he’s appeared on over thirty radio and TV shows, played every comedy club in the UK and bought a new hat.
As well as stand up, Mark is an established actor and more recently TV writer. He has also written a number of crime novels including Scaredy Cat, Lazybones, The Burning Girl, Lifeless, Buried, Death Message, Bloodline, From The Dead, Good As Dead, The Dying Hours and the most recent, The Bones Beneath. He has also written the series based around detective Tom Thorne, now a Sky TV drama
When he plays The Store you’ll hear him talk dirty, wax lyrical about animal husbandry and take the piss out of people’s shirts.
