Kerry Godliman is a trained actress. Combine that with a natural propensity to make people laugh and you have one talented performer.
Kerry trained at Rose Bruford College and went on to take up acting professionally.
In 2003 she decided to branch out into stand-up comedy and made the final of the Babycham Funny Women competition, receiving a special mention.
The following year she made the final of the Hackney New Act competition finishing second.
Since then she has taken shows to Edinburgh and been on a national tour, in addition to performing at comedy clubs up and down the country.
Kerry Godliman likes to entertain the audience with anecdotes about her own personal experiences, characters she has come up against and theories about life in general.
Kerry has acted in Holby City, The Bill, Doctors, Murder In Mind, My Hero and Extras and she was a regular performer on Channel 4’s sketch show Spoons and BBC3’s Rush Hour alongside Adam Buxton, Frankie Boyle and Miranda Hart.
Kerry has also acted on film and in theatre with four films under her belt and productions of Don Juan and Les Liaisons Dangereuses.
Coming to comedy through acting, rather than the other way, Kerry Godliman has a wealth of experiences to draw from, as well as a huge array of techniques to get the most from an audience, both of which she does with the confidence of a seasoned professional.
